WELCOME TO OUR VISION OF THE WEST...

It has been said that the old west was written through the saddle of a horse, but the vision of the west still exists through the eyes of the artist with a story that will never end.

Women of Western Art is a non-profit organization, based in Oakdale, California, otherwise known as "Cowboy Capital of the World."

A Race by Vonnie Muniain

The artist group represents what the west was and is still today. The primary purpose of the group is to give a breath of life to the western culture through their works of art.

As any true artist would, the artists feel the need to keep the spirit of the west alive with a portrayal of real life, they continue to paint, draw and sculpt the places they live and the things they love.

The primary objective of the Women of Western Art is to promote the visual arts through the public in such forums as art shows, where they can educate the public in the history of western art through their visual interpretations.
