After college, Lonni worked as a commercial artist for
KERO-TV and Impact Advertising. While raising her family
and working, Lonni's passion for color and design found expression
in needle arts, quilting, clothing construction and jewelry
design.
Ms. Flowers has returned to her first love of painting flora,
fauna and especially horses. She has developed and expanded
her craft, winning awards with her current work in watercolor,
textured acrylics and silk painting. Her work features rich
color and a hint of mystery that she believes is essential
to painting.
Lonni's work has been shown at Santa Fe Trails Gallery,
Tulare Historical Museum, Arts Visalia and in her own WildFlowers
Studio in the foothills near Exeter, as well as a number
of art shows and fairs around California. She is a member
of Valley Art Association, Tulare Palette Club, Visalia Art
League and the Alliance of California Artists.
